John has hosted his Compendium since April 2021, now happily at home on Folk Friday Radio in its regular weekly slot at 8pm on Wednesdays (UK time).

For ‘Listen Again’, the Compendium also uploads every week to Mixcloud @JohnReedBreathe, providing about 80% of music from independent musicians and the remainder from established artists.

The Compendium has a chat feed running exclusively on Blue Sky Social. The show aims never to repeat a song, and never announces its playlist in advance. You really won’t know what to expect from week to week.

The Compendium incorporates a “What’s On?” for the month ahead   in association with the Town Hall Sessions, which has access to three live venues in the English Peak District town of Glossop.

Occasional Podcasts, “PodViews”, with musicians and others who have an influence on the independent music scene, tackle issues that affect and direct the lives of independent musicians and artists.

Mixcloud – from 8pm Wednesday (UK time), 3pm Eastern Standard Time (North America), 7am Australian Eastern Standard Time.
